The group company consists of several subordinate companies, such as Sino-American Joint Venture Shanxi General Storage Battery Industrial Co., Ltd., Shanxi General Storage Battery Institute, Shanxi General Refined Chemical Co., Ltd., Shanxi General Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and other producing and operating shareholding subsidiary companies. The main businesses are machine manufacturing, refined chemical, lead-acid storage battery producing (applied in telecommunication, electric power, traction, solar power, wind power, electric bicycle, automobile, and motorcycle) and national and international trading business. Also the Group deals in or acts an agent for import- export of native and livestock products, light industry products, metal and mineral products, chemical products, electromechanical products etc., dealing in products with materials supplied by clients, “three processing and one compensation” business and operating the counter trade and entrepot trade.
